    I bring my own mixer. Crystal lite....lots of flavors go well w/ vodka.

    I went with drinking Bud Select 55. I was surprised that it tasted pretty good. I really didn't get a buzz after drinking 5 bottles and was very surprised. But I was having fun and didn't look at the alcohol content until today. It's only at 2.40%!!! So you have to drink twice as much to get the normal buzz from a Miller Lite bottle. Plus you're buying twice as many drinks. Those marketing departments for the beer companies are making their companies loads of money...

    I have to respectfully disagree with this...the OP said he was trying to avoid soda, and regular sprite has just as many calories as any other soda so it wouldn't save him any calories...following that idea, order whatever drink you choose, then ask for a short soda water with lime. looks just like a cocktail and very refreshing! you can alternate these
