Motivation ALL day EVERYDAY

Hello hello,
As we all know, staying motivated and on point in exercise and food intake is next level near impossible. It is not easy, and we find excuses to make ourselves feel validated. Like today, I got a root canal [I brush my teeth 3x a week, wtf] and did not even complete the whole process! I have to go back for part 2 Today, with the amount of pain I was in (anesthesia did not help much) I got myself a coffee from starbucks.. No big deal. A meal, a snack, a bite every once in a while is not going to make or break the progress! My problem is, I caught myself thinking that I should skip my workout today and tomorrow and just 'rest' and indulge in these small snacks because of my dentist appointment. *kitten*. I am going to kill my workout and knock off the snacking.
Staying motivated is tough. Eating right 80% of the time is tough! I plan on writing everyday to motivate everybody and get myself motivated as well. I am just your regular Jane Doe that wants to be in shape, get that beach bod, BUT enjoy myself and be healthy! Dieting is not the way to go, eating is a lifestyle. Indulging yourself once in a while is not going to ruin the process. Taking a rest day is not going to ruin the process. BUT, not taking care of yourself will ruin the process towards having a healthy life.
Add me, write me, ask me, motivate me/others..
I will be on here trying to be here and motivate anybody and everybody
Be well, and most importantly be happy

I look forward to reading your posts!
On a teasing note, I have to tease you good-heartedly for saying you brush your teeth 3x's a week and needed a root canal. I'm guessing you meant to say you brush 3 times a day!1 -
Good morning!
Just last week I set out to post/update MFP on a daily basis. Yet, I have not succeeded. I let life get the best of me and did not prioritize eating and keeping my standards up. Guess what? That is life. Sometimes we let life get the best of us and we mess up a few days. But then guess what?! You get back on the gains train and you keep going after it! So what, a few days of bad eating or drinking got the best of you? It surely is not good, not saying to do it often, but what I am saying is that it gets the best of us all. It is okay. We are our own worst critics. Sometimes we need to take a breather and say it is okay. A healthy lifestyle is forever. We all want to be healthy and fit for as long as we are here on earth. So think long terms instead of this summer or the end of the year.. Of course we want to get fit pronto, as fast as possible. However, it all takes time. There is no secret to life. It is plain and simple; Eat well, move daily, and be happy. Take each and every day and do your very best! Live your best life everyday. Start today. Do things, today. What if there is no tomorrow? Often times, myself included, many of us think for tomorrow. What do we have to do tomorrow, or I will start tomorrow.. Many times, over the weekend, I will tell myself 'I will start on Monday, fresh start, I will do better on Monday'. Then what happens? I eat like *kitten*, and let myself drink. Now, everything in moderation of course, but it does not help to have a poor mindset of 'tomorrow'. Do it TODAY! Today is the day to seize! So do it! Take your time, ask for help, research, and just do it. At the end of the day, it is simple choices, not the easiest, but simple.
What do YOU want in life, and proceed to do it. Just do it.
Have a wonderful day everybody. Live life and be well.
I will be back tomorrow!
Now go motivate others
Time to bail snail!

Hello Hello,
Another day of progress made? I honestly had Portillos: bacon cheese burger, cheese fries, half a small chocolate cake shake. THEN I had a heavy leg day. Did squats of 3x5,3,22 at 145lbs and deadlifts 5x3 at 265lb. So it balances out, right? Not really, but the rest of the day was clean eating. One meal is not going to break your progress. Everything in moderation! One bad meal, one bad day, one bad week is not going to mess up your progress for a healthy lifestyle! Key word, LIFESTYLE. This is not a diet that will be stopped after a few months, this is YOUR life! Live it to the fullest. Take care of yourself to the best of your ability; it means eat well, put down that doughnut and get moving! Be happy, enjoy life.
Take care of YOUR self. Motivate others. Be happy.
Thank you -Sara0 -
Good day fellow hard workers!
Another day, another gain. I had a two workout kinda day and boy did I stuff my face with food! I usually stay within 2200 kcal, but today I hit around 2500 kcal. All clean food, though I felt bad. But I shouldn't! I had to feed my body and eat food because my body needed it! You see, sometimes we ignore the body's needs (like when we want chocolate), however, cases like these, when we train our bodies like crazy, we need to accommodate for it. When we increase the work load we need to increase the kcal and I mean GOOD, HEALTHY, kcal. Not chips and cookies. At the end of the day, we want to lose FAT, not MUSCLE. We eat good food to build muscle and we do steady state cardio to lose that fat we don't want. Of course we have to be in a calorie deficit as well, it goes without saying. However, my point is that we do not have to eat a couple of hundred calories to try and lose weight. We should be eating good healthy food to build ourselves and not starving. At the end of the day, we all want to live a healthy lifestyle, and depleting ourselves from the necessary kcal is what many of us do yet is not the way to go.
Let's get on the day being a bit more educated in what our bodies need! (Exclude chips and cookies)
Enjoy, live life, be happy
Thanks, -Sara0
