OK, but I will be the baby of the group (60). I am in maintenance. Is that ok with you?

I have been a MFP user since I quit smoking but after an accident and the inability to walk independently my weight started to creep up again, then because I can't have bread etc I have decided to go the low carb high protein route to see if it gets me off the plateu and get me back on track.
I also think it's good to support each other on this journey especially as we get older, I'm erm 66 but feel 26 šŸ˜‚
Hopefully being a part of a community it will be not so lonely.

@AlexandriaUK I, too, came here after quitting smoking and gaining a pile of weight. Not sure how much I gained, but I lost 70ish pounds and can wear the clothes I used to. Lol, never threw out my "skinny" clothes, but definitely got rid of my "fat" clothes as I lost weight.
It has been a few weeks. How goes your journey?
