Hi there. My name is Rocky (50 yrs old) and I have been using this site for about 8 weeks. This is my first post. A group at my work have been running a "weight loss club" for the last 8 weeks and someone in the group turned us on to this website. What an awesome site. An online food journal that is free?? Are you kidding me? Built in nutritional information? Who wouldn't love it! I have been overweight nearly my entire adult life. I have tried all the "diets" from NutriSystem (65 lbs) to Weight Watchers (40 lbs and 45 lbs). Each time regaining the weight once I stopped keeping a food journal . Journaling (is that a word?) is, in my opinion, the most important part of eating healthy. It is soooo easy to eat hundreds of extra calories a day from popping a few slices of cheese and a handful of chips into your mouth while making the kids' lunches to reaching for that second or even third plate of pasta (covered in parmesan, of course). Keeping a journal of your calorie intake will keep you on track. Good luck to all of you.
