Hello, I am new to this site. Today was my first time to visit and I really liked the calorie counter, so I decided to sign up and see where it leads. Today I was totally honest with my entries, and was I ever enlightened to the amount of food I have been eating! Wow, I never realized! Tomorrow I will start my journey to hopefully lose between 80 & 100 pounds, and I am sure myfitnesspal is going to be a big part of that success.......this part of it (keeping tract) seems easy, the rest.....not so much!! Wish me luck!!

  • Good luck to you; be sure to post you menu so that all can see & that way we maybe can help with your choices. Everyone here is very honest & will let you(me)know when you make the wrong choices. But they will all stand behind you & help you make better ones. Very supported for everyone.

  • I am also new to MFP having only joined last week. I never realized how little I ate until I started. I have a hard time consuming the calories that I should. I would like to loose about 140 lbs. It's been helpful to me and my family. My husband is average weight but he didn't realize the calories in some of his favorite foods. I think this will help us to cut out a lot of things.
  • I am hoping to be able to make some healthy changes to my family's diet too!
