No More Late Night Snacking in 2020 -- August 2020 Challenge

f you haven't seen this challenge before, let me brief you about it:
We started this thinking: "Looks like I'm self-sabotaging by munching/bingeing after dinner" or "Mhmm... I'm kinda doubling my in-calories at night".
What you have to do to change the way you feel about your eating at night:
- decide what late night snacking means to you (could be either bingeing, if you're inclined to it or simply eating anything at all after a certain time; some may find that having a healthy snack after dinner is perfectly alright and be upset only when they go overboard)
- report in the thread. We post by the formula:
Me: X vs. LNS: Y,
where X is "how many evenings you stuck to it" and Y "the times late night snacks won". You may want to also add a * to the latest number. Feel free to also post streaks of how many days (in a row) you've managed to be free of late night snacking
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated , as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile!
Have I touched a cord? Then: You are welcome!

My goal is no snacking after 9pm. If that fails, my “hard line” is not exceeding my daily calorie limit because of it.

I was successful with the Late Night Snacking in July when my times for no eating were no food after 8:00 pm.( only because I knew I had to post the success or failure each day!) This month I want to try 7:45 on Sundays- Thursdays and 8:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. I may go to 7:30 after 2 or 3 weeks if I’m successful. I also want to have a goal of logging all my food each day and posting that as well.
Thank you so much for having this challenge! I’m sure my weight would be a couple pounds higher without it last month!1 -

I have accidentally become a member of a couple of Apple Watch Challenges that are filled with daily 110-era (Max pts you can get per day)
So the 167 mins were a walk, another walk at 10 pm & exercise bike 11:40-12. Whew!
Today I’m breaking it into mid day, afternoon, and evening.
I can’t jog or run, so it’s all very time consuming ...however, I’m SO much stronger since I did my best in July!!
Thanks!! I’m glad you liked my recommendation. UAC is fabulous!!!!
So is the group “Building Better Habits”
You get to choose a small habit to practice/learn during the month. Very nice group of folks, too!

@MadisonMolly That was a very impressive day of exercise! I used to love long bike rides when we lived near a 34 mile trail that went along a river. Where we are here, we can either bike super casually ( slow) or bike on trails with hair pin turns on hills or blind turns. Had a couple of close calls and choose not to here. It’s a shame because I LOVE biking! Now it’s just on my spin bike.0 -

Hoping I can pull off a gold this month. Aiming to just go to BED at night when I get tired, rather than “rewarding” myself by snacking or having a sweet. Sleep is a reward, right?! 😂2 -

Hi, my name is Amanda. I live in Toronto.
this quarantine is kicking my butt I’ve put on 10 pounds in five months. I’m currently 174 pounds and looking to get down to 125.
I’m a notorious night eater, so I’m committed to not eating between 6pm - 6am.
Is there anyone here that I can lean on to be my accountability buddy??1 -
@amandahenriques2014 I will be your accountability partner if you like. Feel free to add me.
For me no eating after 7:45pm until next morning.
