I am usually super hungry the day of exercise, I don't think I ever really paid attention about the day after, I find if I am fine with less calories one day, then I don't add extra foods to make those numbers... if I am super hungry another day... I eat every bit I NEED to fill my calories. Your body is repairing from your exercise, so it makes sense that you would need more fuel and maybe even have increased your metabolism.0

I'm usually only hungry immediately after my workouts. Make sure you're eating all your exercise calories so your body knows it will get the nutrition it needs.0

I can only exercise at night, after 8pm...and I'm always super hungry afterwards, i just eat pistachios or pb toast. i would suggest eating when you're hungry...you'll just drive yourself crazy if you don't0

your muscles are probably craving some protein too. My trainer tells me to eat lots of lean protein after a big workout. It actually helps calm the hunger beast0

I would suggest after your workout to drink some coco water. It has electrolights. If you get hungry after your workout, that's ok. You should. Eat oatmeal or cottage cheese. those are healthy choices!0

I believe that protein might be the big pitfall, especially for many women. How much do you get on average?
Divide your weight in lbs by about 2.4 and you'll have about the minimum amount of protein in grams that you need daily.
It is recommended to eat almost twice that though, when exercising, to supply your body with the protein, it needs to recover and build new muscle.
I myself weight about 183 lbs and try get atleast about 140-160 grams a day.
The easiest way for me to hit that, is to take a protein supplement twice a day.0 -
Almost always... If I work out in the AM, I eat breakfast within the hour I finish the workout, and at night I try not to eat too much so I just have chocolate soy milk. Plus, over 1000 cals burnt means you get to eat tons more so I wouldn't worry about it! Just keep trackin'!0

When it comes to exercise calories, I believe quality is much more important than quantity.
Before a workout, I make sure I have something to fuel my body - a piece of fruit, some wholewhet toast with peanut butter, or some raisins.
Afterwards - if it was a strenght/ muscle workout, then chocolate milk. If it was very cardio-y, complex carbs and protein (typically a small portion of brown pasta with a tin of tuna, or cheese and oatcakes.)0
