No weight change

I have been dieting for 3 weeks now. The first week I dropped 13 lbs to 219 and felt really excited. I’ve been adding extra activity to my weeks and eating nutritiously (bad foods in moderation). I’m a nursing mom so carbs are an important part of my diet to keep my supply, but I still try to eat no more than around 100-120. Because I nurse I have been told I need an additional 500 calories per day. So I normally max my calories for a single day at around 1700 and I won’t allow myself below 1200. I try to alternate and give myself a few days a week higher on the caloric intake and lower on other days.
Second week weigh in brought a 2 lb gain? Now this week I am back to 219.

When and how should I start making adjustments to calories? Ride it out?

    Thanks! I’ll just keep with what I’ve been doing. How long should someone wait to make changes to diet? Several months?
