I swear to you, every time I hear about this woman I go bonkers 🤣 I just wanna shake some sense into her.

The dress? Both banging AND work appropriate; you're rocking it.

Seeing these pics makes me wonder wtf I am. I'm a mom, but I'm not "thin" or "in shape" or "hot".

It took me a while to realize "hot" is a matter of attitude, not just the exterior appearance. We are all on a journey. Yours is different than mine which is different than someone else's. You're doing great. Celebrate your progress!

Does there need to be another thread?

I'm not sure I follow. Another versus what? the dad bod thread?

    Any?

Oh 3G, I wonder if you take me too seriously. I meant I appreciate the mom bods in this thread, but truly would miss the other attributes of many of the other threads; those dealing with personal philosophies, interpretation, art appreciation, humor, intellect and. . hold on, I'm trying to read the rest of the speech my writers gave me. What? You quit? *kitten* you!! Yer fired!

It's possible, I really don't know you except for maybe two interactions we've had including this one.

Seriously? It's not even clingy! Is she Amish or Mennonite or something?

    Nope, just a tight-mule prude.

Age 46 here and mother of one adult child. This year we had a mini heat wave and I was able to be out on the beach as late as mid-October and I love being out in my bikini as often as i can. I do not have a perfect body but I’m healthier now that I’m a normal BMI and exercise regularly. I’ve learned to accept it as the perfect body for me :)

Thank you! It’s been a loooooong process of accepting my body, I hated my curves when I was younger but I’ve made peace with them and now in my 40’s I love <3 wearing bikinis and form fitting clothes, whereas in my younger days I wouldn’t ever wear anything as revealing and spent all my time in baggy clothes trying to hide my figure :# After I gained then lost weight and began exercising for the first time in my sedentary life I really learned to love my body because I learned it was strong and capable... heck I can run up and down hills and mountains whenever I want now, it’s amazing! :D

@RunsWithBees That first photo looks like a 70s magazine cover photoshoot. This was 100% the hourglass shape I grew up with (and still covet)! You look great!!
