Hi guys,
Really need encouragement!! All the success stories are amazing!
I'm 142lb, want to get to 124lb.
Weight been creeping up recently, plus I just gave up cigarettes three days ago!!
Any advice/encouragement welcome and anyone who'd like to add me as a friend, please do so!!

I'm at about 140 lbs at the moment and trying to get to 125-120 lbs! So we're the same!

you are already doing amazing, just by starting this and giving up the cigarettes, you will do awsome, there is always bumps. But you can rock this:)0

Congrats on stopping smoking! That's HUGE! My vice was Diet Mountain Dew which I gave up about 10 days ago. Stick with it. It'll happen if you want it.

I have about the same amount to lose. I'm about halfway to my goal and it's amazing how much better I feel. It's not just about looks, but I feel like I have more energy when I'm eating better and not lugging around an extra dozen pounds.
People on MFP with a lot of weight to lose seem to drop weight more quickly -- don't get discouraged if your progress is slower! It WILL come off, you WILL reach your goal, and in the process you will have learned new habits to help make sure it doesn't creep back on again.
