Menopausal 50something newbie!

Hi I’m a newbie, really struggling with weight gain due to menopause and being a pig. I love exercise but the weight won’t shift, I’ve started swimming daily in the sea but that just makes me want to eat more! 🙄 I’ve started tracking the food intake now and I’m hoping that will make a difference. I’ve always managed to shift weight in the past but seems impossible now. I’m interested to see how other ladies deal with the weight gain and know whether it’s a case of acceptance or just keep battling, which at the moment I find is exhausting!

    I am 51 and menopause has pounced on me too.
    Keeping track of calories and exercise has proved that I can lose a few lbs. Lots more to go though 🤣
