    @Miss_Chiev0us, I can’t really put my finger on it. I don’t find your question rude at all. I guess it’s the context that’s annoying, like the stupid faces with the duck lips and skewed body positions. They are everywhere!!!! Hee hee. Long gone are the days of candid friendly photos. ✌🏼

    Oh okay, I understand but a part of me disagrees. You just don't know what people are going through. If they feel good about themselves by taking a selfie, why not? I take some once in a while... it's not because I'm full of myself, im far from that. I lost all my hair, eyelashes, eyebrows when I was doing chemo treatments, for months I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror without crying. When I wear my wigs and do my makeup I feel good about myself I'll take a picture at times to remind myself that I can still feel good about myself. I don't do the duckfaces though, I find it looks like a buttholee 🤣 As for selfies here on MFP alot of people lost weight and they are confident now and want to show it. I think it's great!
