New to MFP, looking for a sense of community, I guess?

So i started using Samsung Health app about 3 months ago and found alot of great features. Then several of those features were removed from the app. This App was recommended highly for its interface, and sense of community. I am a 34 y/o that 3 months ago weighed in at 277. 1 week ago I was hovering at 252, after an injury and a bout of depression I am sure I am somewhere around 258. Really looking for that community and to be able to inspire, and be inspired.

Please forgive her for this. If I recall correctly she is Canadian, and obviously beer is always very near the surface during their thoughts!

Being serious now, I agree with the above comments. Participate in the forums, fill out your profile some, and find like people you can relate to. There are plenty of people here that have had their own share of setbacks, including both injuries and depression. Finding the right community to help you power through any struggles can be a game changer for many.

It’s so disconcerting and upsetting isn’t it when something you used and found useful disappears… I have had time away from this app, but back again to find that a lot of my original friends seem to have disappeared or maybe migrated to other places… I am doing the same as you, peeking into a bunch of forums to see who I can find that I can connect with. Big hugs to you for everything that you have been dealing with, and well done for carrying on… Honestly I think that means you are doing great in very difficult circumstances!

There should be a part that's entitles "about me" and a part for why you're doing this. It might not be available on the app but you can see it all on he web based one
