new to the site but have used the mobile app for months now!

Hello! I've been using MyfitnessPal app on my Iphone since May 2011. I had 25 lbs to lose after having my son in December and started with a body media device that tracked my daily activities including sleep, I had success with that and lost the first 15 by March. the weight loss really started to slow down and I got tired of wearing an arm band 24 hrs a day so I downloaded the app and have been using it about 80 to 90% of the time. I am now down to 132!! 6 lbs less than I was before having my son! The app has really helped me get my calories in check, I had no clue what a portion was! I also bought a kitchen scale. I feel great and run almost daily. I'm now more focused on builing up muscle and strength. My husband and I are running in the Nor Cal Tough Mudder on Sept 17!!

    Great results! So much to be proud of! app is amazing, but the site has so much to offer as well, with the forums for info and advice, making friends for motivation/support/encouragement. From a fellow runner, wishing you the best of luck in the Mudder in a couple weeks!!!
