This is my favourite question to answer. I have zero clue what you're into but I am going to recommend "Disfigured" by Amanda Leduc. It's a non-fiction book about the way disability is perceived in fairy tales and stories and how that has shaped our perception of people with disabilities. I am not done it, but it is a good privilege check and reminds me I am lucky enough to see people with by bodies (white, average-sized, no visible disability, English speaking, middle class) represented in those very stories.

Do you like adventure, memoir style? One of my all time faves with TONS of adventure written by a Retired Navy Seal is Warrior Soul by Chuck Pfarrer. It’s not all about the operations. It’s about his real life in between those times and I think that’s the part I really enjoyed, learning how normal these abnormally badass guys can be.1
