Hey I’m 15 days in and 2lbs down and I’m slowly slipping back into old habits and it’s frustrating me so much! I need to loose 4 stone and I know it won’t happen straight away but I’m just sick of looking at myself in the mirror, I started being obsessed at the beginning with what I eat and exercise and now I’m not enjoying it as much and it’s a lot harder on the weekends, I don’t want to lose my motivation but don’t know how to keep it up I’ve tried distracting myself reading or looking at new recipes but it won’t work, help me please 😩

Slow and steady is best. Create habits instead of feeling forced. What worked for me at the beginning:
Walk or bike 45 mins to an hour a day to clear your head. I like listening to podcasts.
Drink water before/during meals. Have salad before the main meal. If you feel like a snack, go for water, oranges or bananas.

Just cutting out sodas, cookies, ice cream and candy dropped pounds for me.
Covid forced me to cut down on restaurant meals and craft beer.

Hi I used to have a lot of sodas but I’ve cut it down to like one bottle every so often and drinking plenty of water, and on weekends I used to eat out but now cooking home meals which I noticed I don’t feel as heavy in myself,

I might start going for walks in the morning and listening to music to see if that preps me for the day, thanks for your advice 🙂

I make plans and even write them down if necessary. I made a habit of doing a workout every morning first thing. Once you get used to a new pattern/routine, you can make it a habit that sticks.

That’s a good idea to write them down, I just had it all in my head so best to try and write them down, it was so much easier in lockdown but now I’m back at work it drains me so much, but thanks for your advice 🙂
