How do you know when to change your goal?

Right now I'm set at a 2lb per week loss and I've been meeting that easily but I know that at some point that will no longer be realistic. My question is, how do I know when I've hit that point and should go down to 1.5 or 1lb?

I don't know the definate answer but for me when I didn't see any weight loss for over a month is when I changed mine. Since then I've had to adjust it again to just 1/2 lb a week loss but both times I changed it, I started to see loss again. The closer you get to your goal (usually 10 lbs or less) you should set it at no more than 1/2 lb a week. Upping my calories works. Best of luck to you:):) You are doing an amazing job!

When you stop losing. Why fix something that ain't broken? Wait 'til it slows to 1 lb per week without changing it and then change it to 1 lb per week.
  • I guess in this case the simplest answer really is the right one  Thanks.
