Newbie Week 2 - Hi from Southampton, England UK

Hi all, my name's Jodie. I'm a very unfit mother of three gorgeous girls- my youngest (twins) are 5. I was struggling with my increasing weight before they were born and since then, I've slowly reached my heaviest weight of 20 stone. Everything hurts, especially my hips and everything feels such hard work; and it's seriously depressing. Nothing fits and I feel embarrassed and defeated most of the time.

So before I put myself into an early grave and with a bit of inspiration from those well in their journey, like #fat.to.goddess, I'm on week two of using MyFitnessPal to track my calories keeping under 1400 and am on day three of the exercise programme 'Real Start' with Team Body Project (free online), as it appears the programs are a gradual build up and won't immediately break me, which is reassuring.

So my aim, to feel more comfortable in my skin, literally and psychologically; to be healthier, reducing my risk of associated co-morbidities and to be a fitter healthier mum and role model to my girls with more energy and motivation to do physical activity. So no number, but I'm sure I'll know when I get there 🙂

    Hi! I'm Kellie from Port Talbot in South Wales. It's my 2nd day, albeit my 3rd attempt. I have a 14month old daughter and want to get fitter and healthier to be able to keep up with her and join with everything as she gets older. I did want to lose 4st 5lbs, but aiming for 2st loss first. Then go from there!
