Having to repeatedly force sync Fitbit to update steps

Hello,

Can anyone help me? Starting last night, I’m having to revoke access from Fitbit to MyFitnessPal every time that I want to update my steps. What is going on? I’ve restarted my phone, reinstalled both apps, revoked access and granted it, why is MyFitnessPal not syncing automatically?

I’m getting worried because it really motivates me to see how many calories I earn from activity.
