Grief

Recently my mental health has not been at its best, and I feel it’s really taken a toll on my weighting and habits.
I need some motivation to get myself back in the swing of things and start looking after myself again.

    Sorry you're going through this right now @katherineleggett. Taking care of your physical health may have a positive impact on your mental health. At the same time though, do you have someone - like a mental health pro or your family doctor - to talk to about how you're feeling?

    @MaltedTea I haven’t spoken to anyone professionally, no. My husband and family are very supportive though. I don’t feel like I’m in a situation where I need to seek advice but I do want to get myself back into focusing on my health.

    I stumbled upon this thread and I will tell you that the counseling of a professional can be very helpful sometime. I have had a great therapist for some time now and I find it very beneficial. Also, be kind to yourself. In many respects we are in unprecedented times and its difficult to act like yourself when there re restrictions everywhere. Remember that your family may be supportive but they are not impartial, a health care professional is. Go forward young lady.
