In the 200's again - first milestone on my journey!

So I am 1/2 a pound away from being in the 200's again (even if it is 299lbs).
Have not been in the 200's since just after high school and I am almost 40 years old.
After that only 75 more pounds to go and a lifetime to do it and maintain it.

Well guess I spoke to soon.
Somehow I'm all the way up to 305 today. Been eating under my calories every day.
No idea what the hell happened but not happy about it. Hard to see the scale move that far in one day in wrong direction.1
