How often do you take progress pictures?
I’m going to start working out and when I do this, I don’t lose any pounds but I know I lose inches. Pictures are going to be crucial for me not to give up since the scale won’t move much.
Every 5 weeks?

When I was losing I took them every 3 months because I wanted to see big differences. Some people prefer more often. Try to wear similar clothes that will reveal small changes. Use good lighting. Get someone to help you take all angles -front, side, and back. They are really fun to compare!0

I do monthly with consistent lighting. I also use a tape measure and a spreadsheet for calculating body fat %.
It's nice having all three options (weight, progress pics, bodyfat) as proof of improvement.0 -
Every 6 months for me. Except this year because of covid...0
