Hi, my name's Amanda and I'm 20. For almost 10 years I have dieted on and off, first to beat puppy fat and now to beat general obesity. For years I have suffered from a large "midriff", where the rest of my body has remained relatively normal. I was diagnosed with PCOS last year with insulin resistance, meaning I didn't have the ability to absorb carbs like white bread and pasta and it turned into fat almost instantly (hence the massive belly). Now I know all this, I decided to use the information to my advantage and try and kick the fat for good. I joined weightlossresources in March til I found this place, and it was the emphasism on exercise (and no monthly fee) that made me switch.
I don't know why it took me so long to figure it out, but eating all the right stuff wasn't gonna get me anywhere until I got off my bum and exercised. So last month I join a gym, and tonight I will be going for the third time this week. I finally feel like I am on the right track. I don't feel as unhopeful that it isn't going to work, and I'm ready to see the biggest results ever.
I would however appreciate some good exercise tips for the gym, as my gym buddy is on holiday
