I love all your tips! Especially the one about volume eating. I'm a person that likes to eat a lot, and losing weight sometimes seems really hard for that reason. So I am going to give this a try!2

Thank you! I've gained back 36 pounds (of an 84 pound loss) and I'm trying to rein in my eating and start walking again. Your post is just what I needed!2

Amazing feeling, right? I've been maintaining at goal here since 2011 and I agree with your advice! Especially about making it enjoyable, so it's something you look forward to sticking with permanently. No reason for your eating and exercise habits to be punitive or unpleasant. Find what you enjoy and stay consistent! Enjoy those extra calories you worked hard for. Perfection isn't necessary. And "messing up" now and then is no reason to give up.
People think weight management/fitness somehow NEEDS to be complicated. It NEEDS to hurt. But if you make it difficult or unpleasant, you aren't gonna last. Why would you?5 -
Wow a great story you look great.2

Don’t wait around for motivation. Just do it.
Don't believe everything you think.
Stellar. Spot on.

@Orphia
'Don't wait around for motivation. Just do it.'
I need motivation, I need someone to keep me motivated. I need someone else to do all of hard work for me. I need you to keep me propped UP, 24 x 7. I need you to tell me what to do and how to go about it and if you don't, I will throw in the towel and throw myself on the ground if losing weight doesn't go fast enough.
'Don't believe everything you think.'
The weight loss battle is mostly in the mind where the appetite control center resides. It is truly a Master Controller.2 -
Congrats to you. You are an inspiration to me and I need to stick to my food log much better. I eat healthy but sometimes buy the forbidden food too often......I am going to try to really WORK at it now and try much harder to lose the weight. Thanks so much.1

@EileenL2015 Thank you very much. I wish you success.
We must be honest with ourselves. Know that our actions have effects right back on ourselves.
You might get something out of this little video on logging, "slow metabolisms", and dieting.
