Goal Incentives...

Hey All,
I need to make some goals, and put them out there so that every time I achieve a milestone I can reward myself. The only thing is, I have a hard time rewarding myself as most of my money goes to my kids because I LOVE doing for them and others...so I thought I would get a vast idea of what everyone rewards themselves with. I have two main goals to meet. One later this month and the other on my Bday in November...

  • Rewards don't have to be financial or cost.

You could ask friends or family to congratulate you when you meet them, I've found it's the positive responses of others that makes the effort worthwhile.
  • But you will will need new clothing as your body shape changes...

I usually reward myself with things that are necessary anyway, but still fun. For example, when I went under 200 lbs, I got a haircut! Something everyone needs/gets all the time, but for me, it was fun to go and change up my hair a bit as a reward. My next reward will be buying a new pair of pants because hopefully my other ones will be too big! Again, something needed. Anything fun like that is a good reward--my only advice is stay away from food-related rewards like "go get ice cream" or "go out to dinner" because that is NOT the best way to encourage yourself for a healthy lifestyle choice! Haha.

What do YOU want? Hair cut? Pedicure? Manicure? New dress? Enjoying a day off and putting the kids in daycare? Haha.
