Looking for binge-eating disorder buddies

Hey guys,
I have been struggling with a binge and purge disorder for over a decade. I have finally stopped purging for the better half of a year. I did slip up twice after a massive binge. I really want to stop making food at the center of my life. I don't mind doing it alone but I think it would be great to do it with a few people. One of the advice given to get rid of binge eating is to keep a journal about it. I was thinking of making a whatsapp group, where people who are interested could bond and also treat it like a journal.
About me:
I'm 28, 5'2'' and 190lbs. I'm a medical student that is constantly stressed, which is something I'm working on by doing meditation and yoga in the mornings. I might add runs in the morning but exercise isn't on the top of my priority list. I want to focus on my binge cravings first.
I hope some people will resonate with this and get rid of food addiction once and for all!

Hey! I've never been officially diagnosed with a binge eating disorder, but I very much know that I use food as an emotional crutch. If I don't feel well, I eat. If I'm stressed, I eat. If work is getting me down, I eat. If you decide to spin something up like what you're talking about, I'd be interested in seeing if it's something that would work for me. It's been a rough year for everyone and I think a lot of us emotional eaters are definitely struggling.0
