Reduced carbs in pasta

I once watched a tv programme that stated if you pre cook pasta and eat it the next day the carbs reduce by 50%

Do you think this is true?

    It's the concept of resistant starch and last I heard, the jury was still out on that one.

    This. The theory is that part of the carbs become undigestible so they just pass through you. It's still theoretical.
