My next goal is Oct 29, my husband and I are going out for our first wedding anniversary and I bought a cute strapless dress for it. It's already too big, but if I am going to spend money on getting it altered I would like to lose more and get it altered all at once.

By the way, I could use some opinions. I don't dress up too often, so when I do I always feel like I'm standing out and people are looking at me. I'm a little worried this dress is too dressy (we're going to an evening concert at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra). Below is a link to the dress, what you do you think? (I got it in black)

    Its very nice, I don't think its too dressy for what you're doing. Whatever shoes, jacket you may or maynot wear with it could dress it up or down for you too. It's nice to have nights where you're dressed up and feeling gorgeous. Own it!
