I've lost 30 lbs in 3 months. In the beginning it was easier and it's gotten a lil tough, been going up and down. But I'm still sticking with it.

Congratulations: that's amazing progress. (I aim to lose 30 lbs, but I think I am looking at around six months. One more month to go...) Hope your progress continues!2

Yeah, the closer you get to your goal weight the harder it is to lose. try adding exercise if you are not already, that helped me a lot.0

Keep reminding yourself that this is weight management not weight loss. Weight management is a lifetime pursuit. Weight loss is the small first chapter. You do not need to be in a hurry. Give yourself time to keep adjusting your habits so that when the weight loss portion is over you have the tools you need to keep it off, forever. Sustainable habits are the priority. I do not believe we can decide what will be a sustainable habit for the rest of our lives but I do believe that we can decide what we believe we can live with for the next 5 years or so. That gives me time to finish my weight loss and maintain it for a few years. I may not get a full 5 years. Life will continue to do what it does and I will continue to age. However, if I can't seeing me doing what I do now for at least that long I need to rethink what I am doing.
Remember that all you need is calorie control and, as able, enough exercise to promote a healthy lifestyle and decent fitness. It does not have to be a specific way of eating except that it controls hunger. Exercise does not have to be viewed through the lens of "fat burning" and it is a slippery slope to view it as a means to earn more calories. It is nice to have more calories to eat but I find it best to view that as fuel for the exercise/activity. Being very active is my first choice not my requirement.
