My mom went to South Beach when I was 17 to visit some friends vacationing from Wales. They convinced her to send me down so I got her CC, bought a plane ticket, drove myself to the airport and hopped in a taxi to the hotel (<as a midwestern teen, I was really proud of all that). I went out with them the first night, being with a bunch of 30-somethings I got served alcohol everywhere we went and remember walking on the beach at 5 am smoking a cigarette with my Welch friend Kate, who was my mom's age. I was trashed and it was the best night of my life up to that point.0

Cannon Beach, Oregon. Amazing place with some awesome views. Close to Washington.
Depends on what you are looking to do. There are some gorgeous places to hike there or explore.0 -
Love all your responses..0

Yellowstone or Gallatin Valley, MT. Most gorgoeus views I've ever seen! But I'm not an ocean girl... You should google "glamping" if you're an outdoorsey kind of girl!0

Krakow in Poland for me. I went last November with my boyfriend - it's a beautiful city and everything is so cheap. Cigarettes are like £2 a box and you can eat like kings for £5. We got to visit Auschwitz and saw an AMAZING exhibition at Oskar Schindler's factory - very very interesting. I highly recommend it if you fancy an alternative to a beach holiday0

Two week cruise out of LA to Hawaii and back, on Princess.
A total of 8 sea days to laze about on deck, be totally spoiled, eat incredible vegan food (they will do special requests!), and just enjoy life. Plus, 4 great days in Hawaii, exploring!
Yup, I'd so do that again!0 -

My best vacation(s) ever where to Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Negril Jamaica. I LOVE Jamaica :drinker: and every year I would go. I haven't been in a while but crave to go back.
My first time there I took a girl with me and it was our VERY FIRST DATE. :smooched: Needless to say it was a very expensive date! LOL. It's was the most fun I ever had and we are still great friends to this day!
Also taking a Hawaiian cruise is fun. You get to see all the islands. I enjoy myself (even though I got seasick:sick:0 -
Everytime I have visited the west coast (Cali) I have had an amazing time.0

Summers in thessaloniki, Greece
Notable mentions: south beach Miami, varadero Cuba, and Montenegro.0 -
I spent the summer in Central America several years ago -- roughly a week and a half in each country. I hiked, swam, zip-lined, ate delicious cuisine, partied hard, romanced, and went sight seeing. It was seriously nothing short of amazing.0

We won a week at a vegan resort in Grenada, West Indies.
(The Lodge)

OMG - it was awesome! This beautiful old plantation house up on a cliff overlooking St. George and the bay. (Wonderful fresh water pool too.) The hostess was an amazing cook (with much of the produce fresh from their gardens) and they took us all over the island (just because they liked us - not part of the package!) Grenada is not too touristy and so beautiful. The beaches are AMAZING and the people are very friendly. It was an awesome experience and I hope we get to go back some day!0 -
Playa del Carmen, Mexico at an all inclusive resort last summer... that my parents paid for 100% for me and my hubby... we didn't spend a dime the whole 2 weeks we were there!0

Ive traveled the US a lot. My favorite place of all of them was Estes Park, CO. I had an absolute blast there and would love to get back again!
Next was NYC. Been there a few times and love it.
Washington, DC was also great. The museum circuit!0 -
