    Click on the username of the person you want to add. Another window should appear with their community forum info. Click on their username in that window.

    This should take you to their profile (which may be showing as private until they accept your request).

    Under or next to their profile picture, you'll see 2 icons. The first one is an envelope symbol, the second is the outline of 2 figures' heads and shoulders. It's this second one that you click.

    The next step will give you the option to write a message with your friend request, but you don't have to. Next, just click the arrow to send your request and you're done!
