Sorry not sorry Since you're here and reading this, you might as well check out my profile and reach out if you are looking for supportive friends who want to change their life while also having fun doing it.
I have been involved with health and well-being for most of my life but have gotten off track multiple times due to one excuse or another. How many times exactly? I'm not sure. I would say hundreds. For some reason, this time feels different. How so? Well, I'm writing a post on a diet and exercise tracking website about it and that's something I've never done. I usually am pretty reserved about things and go about life doing my own thing but I figured that to change my results, I have to do something completely different. So, here I am.
I'm planning on blogging about my journey to becoming the best version of myself. What does that entail? Concentrating on better habits instead of concentrating on a specific goal of a certain weight or a certain body fat percentage. I believe that if I can build daily habits and just worry about putting one foot in front of the other, my goals will be reached. It's good to have goals in mind but I think it's even more important to spend more time on actually building the habits that will help you achieve those goals.
If you've read this far, you definitely deserve some kudos. Send a friend request asking for a high five and I'll be sure to send one your way (along with a )

Very efficient title 😆
True, habits are important, it's no use making temporary and drastic changes to lose weight and then 'going back to normal' after reaching goal.
Aside from consistency and focusing on the process, don't forget adaptability. We're all different, so finding our own path sometimes takes experimentation: our calorie needs might not be average, we prefer different foods for satiation,...
You're off to a good start, good attitude 👍2 -
Thank you for the response, @lietchi. I do agree that we all have our own journeys in life and we all desire different things. I agree that adaptability, along with growth, is key. If we slip up, do we justify it so we end up doing it again and again and again? Or do we stop and say "Hey, self. This doesn't serve me. I want to do ABC instead so I don't end up doing/feeling XYZ" and then break the habit that might happen every day or maybe every weekend.1
