Hello MFP world!!! :bigsmile: I am distracting myself by writing this post :ohwell: I just want to eat!!!!! I am now trying to distract myself which I think it might be working. I feel like just stuffing my face! But that's bad for one thing and for another I need to weigh in tomorrow. I know I am just stressed and need to focus!
Plan of attack :glasses: I just had a glass of water and some yummy believe it or not dehydrated tomatoes my sister made from her garden :happy: I am going to make a salad with grilled chicken for dinner, then off to shop for a wedding gift and then to my Dad's to take care of him
When I get home it should be time for bed...but I will plan my snacks for tomorrow since I have to leave before the sun comes up :grumble:

Good job distracting yourself, that is the key!! Get your mind off of it, unless of course your stomach is growling, then don't ignore the hungry beast inside!!!:devil:0

I call a friend, or I drink water. Sometimes if I think about it for more than 2 hours I usually try a small amount of what I want, then I feel better. It's tough though. I understand completely!0

When I get ravagingly hungry, I'll chug a glass of water. If that doesn't help, I'll eat a couple baby carrots and hummus dip. If I still feel like I want to eat the house after that, then I'll go brush my teeth, go for a walk, shower, or whiten my teeth with some whitestrips. If all that fails, I just give in and eat, knowing that one day isn't going to ruin me.0

MFP can distract me for a bit, until I start reading recipes. Then it only gets worse.0

lol. i get that way A LOT. I have learned that I don't really eat out of boredom - I just eat out of habit. I dont even have to be hungry and many times I have been full and still want to eat. Suggestion: drink WATER! WATER! WATER! Oh and gum helps me too. I suppose it tricks my brain into thinking that I am eating and that holds me over. But if youre actually hungry - than EAT! try a piece of fruit, nuts, or peanut butter.

Hi, I am a stay at home mom of a 2 yr old. Before i had my baby, i was 115 pounds. Now I am 153 pounds. I have never been more than 120 pounds in my life. I am 38 yrs old and I think the metablolism I used to be blessed with is now lost forever. With my first child who is now 17, the pounds just came off instantly. Now is a very different story. My son was 10 pounds and I had to have a C section. My body has never been the same. I was always a very skinny girl. I would actually get made fun of for being so skinny. I had rock hard abs as well. I don't know myself anymore. It doesn't help that i hardly get out either. I grew up in New York City and I walked everywhere. Now i live in Long Island and have to drive everywhere. I swear living in the city is why i was always in great shape. I need motivation! It's hardest at night when my husband and the kids have gone to bed and it's only me and that fridge. My appetite is off the charts at night. I need some advice on how to stop eating at night. I also need motivation to excercise. When you take care of a toddler the last thing you want to do when you have down time is excercise. My goal weight is 125. I am 5"3 so all this extra weight is having an affect on my stamina in general. I also feel out of breath all the time. Does this happen to anyone else? It doesn't help that i am a beauty blogger.
