I need new low carb recipes... I take in no more than 20 net carbs for right now and I would love some different recipes that would keep me in that range, thanks
my diet is starting to get boring. Tonight I fixed a low carb chicken soup. Spinach - 2 net carbs, broccoli - 4 net carbs, chicken (canned breast) - 0 net carbs, and chicken broth - 0 net carbs, Added some garlic pepper, and it was really tasty. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried the Atkins website? It has many great recipes that will stay within your carb limits. I like to make 'salads' out of meals to cut out the carb count. For example, I eat all the ingredients for a hamburger, minus the bun, in a bowl. There is a quiche recipe that my kids even love to eat. Chicken cordon bleu... the possibilities are endless.0

Zucchini noodles.
Run a zucchini through a mandolin slicer. Saute the "noodles in a little oil of your choice, salt, & whatever spices you feel like. YUM!

Can I give you a piece of advice? Give up the "diet" and just start eating healthier. Can/do you put more fiber in your diet? It will help to fill you up. Do you read labels? Pay attention to the calorie intake, additives and the carbs. Are you exercising? Burning calories also give you the opportunity to consume more calories. Also, cook and eat as fresh as possible...meaning fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains...you get the idea. Plus, variety, variety, variety! That keeps a "diet' from being boring.
For some reason the first thing that popped in my head was...zucchini with tomatoes, onions, and peppers....yum! Maybe with just a little whole wheat pasta?
Good luck on your journey and remember: it takes 3500 burned calories to lose 1 pound...500 calories burned a day for 7 days... You're doing great so far...I hope this helps!0 -
