Personal Growth

This summer I started back with MFP and I have stuck with daily logging for far longer than I have in the past. I feel like I have changed my lifestyle this time. I also took an excel class at the local community college to sharpen myself professionally (just 2 credit hours, all on-line of course). Last night I realized I had a huge data set of calories and weight. Here is a result of my efforts to improve myself physically and professionally.

The left axis is calories and the right axis is my daily weight in pounds

From this graph you can clearly see that I got into the Halloween candy, when that camping trip with the guys was, and make a good guess which day is my birthday. Each time I'm am glad to say I logged everything and got back on the horse the next day. You can also see I tried to keep my calories too low and towards the end I am boosting my daily intake to find my maintenance level.

This is great. You can clearly see your progress - congrats!!

    - Love the plot of weights vs cals. I've got a few graphs myself but not this version. Can I ask is this net cals or total intake?
  • Total intake... I know it is way too low. I am learning much about nutrition on this journey as well.
