Hi I am a 26 year old scaffolder last week I weighed 18stone 115kg and I’m 6ft 1” or 185cm, my job requires me to be highly active. I have chosen the calorie deficit path and in the first week I have lost 9 pound, this seems high? My calorie intake to lose weight is 2510 and I’m always between 400-800 calories under, will my weight loss slow down? If so how do I keep loosing!? As I have totally changed my diet and taking things very seriously! I hear so many ideas on how to lose and keep it off and I’m just confused about it all. Thanks in advance

Typically a person will have a large loss the first week of a diet due to water weight loss, so I wouldn't expect this to be the norm. Just track your food and stay within your calorie allowance; you'll see success. Some days you won't be as hungry so it's OK to occasionally eat lower calories. Good luck.0

Yup, the first week can be water weight, and you may not be hungry. You will find that as you go along things change and you need to change what you do too. Just keep going for now, it's successful. You're doing great.0
