....and then I gained it back. Apparently, I've become a pro at losing the same 10 pounds over and over again over the course of this past year. :D I'm thankful that my weight gain hasn't progressively gotten worse over the course of the year, but I'm nervous thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner. While I thought about hoping on that whole New Year's resolution train, there is a big part of me that doesn't want to wait till then. That's just more pounds to lose, and I already have a bunch I need to get off. Seriously. I'm pretty fluffy. Okay, I'm really fluffy. It's annoying.
So here I am. Back at it and ready to log everything I eat. I'm tired of the chonk. I want to be healthy and be able to play with my kiddo without sounding like I'm dying for air twenty minutes in. That and I'm turning 40 next year (gross...) I don't want to spend another decade miserable because I can't keep food out of my mouth.
Feel free to add me if you'd like. I could use the motivation. I'm kind of good at motivating. We can navigate this whole weight loss thing together. Good luck to those just starting. I'm proud your taking this first step. If you haven't heard it today for those of you who have lost weight, whether it be a pound or 100, I'm proud of you too. Your stories are my motivation.
I'm done rambling. I'm functioning on three hours of sleep and a lot of coffee. I'm sure you know how it is.

I started on October 14. Just a random day in October that I decided that I was tired of being fat and i was not going to be that way anymore. I am 13 months from that date and I am only 16 lbs from my goal weight.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat, but if you think turning 40 is gross, just wait til you're in my shoes, facing 60! One good thing about not being able to celebrate the holidays this year with family is less food. So I'm getting my running start and re losing the Covid weight I put on *now* . Sending you a request.
