help! sugar/carb overload!

I am only a few days in, but I am noticing that every day I am over in carbs and sugar, and under in calories! I don't want to snack my way up to the right level (I'm usually between 100-300 below after dinner (sometimes closer to 400!)) but I also don't know what to eat to get the calories without the carbs and sugars.
Any bright ideas?
:)

some healthy fats will help to boost the calories without increasing your carbs..... think peanut butter, avacados, peanuts, olive oil, etc.
  • I choose almonds usually. They have protein for when you're exercising and they're quick and easy.
  • ooh those are good ideas.
    Thanks!

Peanut butter for sure!!! Yummy! :) I like it in protein shakes with some strawberries!
  • High-protein low-carb shakes, tofu, edamame, and hummus and carrots are some of my favorites. Also, just a few small pieces of chicken will do too (like those pre-cooked strips).
