Need motivation

Hi everyone! I started again just a week ago. And it's really hard. Three years ago I lost 26 pounds with MFP. Then I gained 12 pounds back over the past year. I am now trying to get back into it. I lost three pounds initially but just gained two back as of this morning. I have been keeping under my calorie limit and its also TOM which messes with water weight. I know it's slow going... But it just sucks to keep eating healthy and staying hungry while also seeing the scale go up. What strategies do you use to keep going when it's hard?

I totally get it! I rejoined after gaining a lot of weight back. Started again back in July and have lost/gained the same four pounds this whole time. Not sure if it’s because I’m older now but I’m really struggling to stay motivated.1

Keep in mind that trend lines matter ... daily blips don't. As long as the weekly and monthly lines move in the right direction, enjoy the progress.1
