I would like to suggest a group to you T.O.P.S taking off pounds sensibly. We have a group here in town. I am the leader at our group. We are a group of ladys (many groups also have men) supporting each other in our weight loss life. I suggest that you look this up at www.TOPS.org and see if there is a group near you. This is similar to Weight Watchers but much cheaper and there is no set diet to go by. There are many chapters of this throughout many states.

This is a great group to join. I was a member for several years, and even a leader for a year. I lost quite a bit of weight - the simple accountability is wonderful. I don't go now because it doesn't work with my schedule, but I highly recommend it! Great for men and women!0

I was in TOPS for YEARS in Hamilton Oh. We had fun but it became mostly a social thing & we even went out for ice cream LOL If I join anything now, it would be Fitworks or the YMCA0

I am also a TOPS leader in our town. It is a great support system and reality check too! Also get great info from the meetings and MUCH cheaper than WW!0

Lol! We have a group of ladies that meet at our church. I've never been, but I think it's more of a social thing. They bring in their fast food to eat during the meeting *giggle*0 -
Make sure to find a group that really wants to lose weight. My Mom joined and after the meeting they ordered Pizza Hut!0

I see the posts about fast food at the meetings and pizza hut, if it is a true TOPS meeting and they follow the rules, they are only allowed to have 2 eating meetings a year. We have one for Christmas and everyone brings there favorite diet related dish and then at the end of the fiscal year we meet at Western Sizzlin to have our meeting in honor of the leaders and other officers.0

That sounds a little more in line with weight loss0
