Actually started on Thanksgiving

I actually downloaded MFP and started tracking my nutrition on Thanksgiving. I had been so drowsy/tired and miserable that week, sleep itself was not helping, and I knew I had to make changes. I started tracking, and set my goal to lose 1 lb a week. I also completely ceased smoking- within the past month I was slowly picking back up the habit and becoming re-addicted after having quit years ago. My ultimate goal is health- I am tracking my nutrition far more than I did in the past, not just calories. I am trying to reach at least 6k steps a day. I definitely need to lose weight, and of course I want to look good. But I have lost and regained so many times in the past decade. I just want to be healthy, and never feel so miserable again.
