Burn calories @ work???

I have a desk job and was curious what I could do while working to burn calories, if any at all?
I have a 30 min lunch, what could I do to exercise during that as well?
Also, some days I am up and about the office some and track it with my pedometer, do I log these as an exercise?
Thanks so much, I am a bit lost on the exercise end of my new "life plan"

I have a parking garage where I park on the fourth floor, and my office is on the tenth. This week, I started taking the stairs instead of the elevator. I don't bother to log it, but it definitely spikes the heart rate up. I'm sure it will make my legs stronger too.0

I have a desk job as well, I take two 15 minute breaks and take a walk on each of them plus I walk on my lunch break. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk over and talk to someone instead of emailing them a response - simple stuff like that.
I log my break walks, but not my usual walking around the office (that's just my personal preference though).0 -
you can do isometrics which you basically your pinning your muscles against each other and I work in a two story building but to the roof adds another flight of stairs so I walk up and down them 10x everyday and soon twice a day. you can log those calories if you want to it is calories you are burning if you don't want to add them don't,0

I do not have any stairs in my building or any around it, so that's out.
and I do live in AZ its 115 most days, so a bit hot to be walking around without coming back into work drenched in sweat.
what burns the most calories.. such as crunches, sit ups, jumping jacks, squats.. stuff like that.
thanks so the help already everyone0 -
Can you close the door to your office? The reason I ask - I use walking DVDs a few days a week during lunch. This is low impact cardio - marches, side steps, kicks, knee lifts - nothing bouncy. I live in the Midwest - weather issues here too. Check out exercisetv.com for a free walking workout - Cardio Slimdown or Start! Walking.
I have hand weights & a resistance band in my desk drawer - lunges, squats, rows, bicep curls. Make a list of exercises to do during the day and cross them off the list as you fit them in.0 -
I think i might start that, the hand weight exercises. Sounds perfect for me.
I do not have a door on my office, sadly enough, so I might look like a crazy person if I did the videos. GREAT idea though.
Helped out a bunch.

I understand, I am a teacher, so it is alot of standing and sitting/computer work. I am so much more active in the summer! I hold each muscle tight and release just so I am doing something! I take a quick walk through the halls when I hae a break, and when I get home I bike ride right away or do my calisthenics and weights so I feel good. I think as long as your are moving every day you are doing well! Good luck0
