As I lose weight, will MFP adjust the recommended calories automatically? If it doesn't, how do I adjust it?

When you update your weight in the progress tab mfp will automatically update your calories2

The calories will go down as you lose weight and log your weight. However, I noticed that this sometimes gets stuck, especially when using both the website and app. Might be a good idea to go through the setup every 10lbs or so just to be sure. What you need to adjust is your weightloss goal as your weight goes down. What you have chosen now might not be feasible anymore after a while.1

I have literally NEVER had it auto adjust when I update my weight.
The workaround is to go into goals and update your goal. I’ll usually change how much I want to lose per week and then change it right back to what I want it set at and then it updates my calories based on my current weight.3 -
Thank you everyone!0
