Keto to low carb

Did keto, lost 40 but just can't get past binge eating. Losing 2 lbs and gaining it back week after week. I have learned that low carb keeps my arthritis inflamation down which is less pain. My next journey will be low carb with a calorie deficit. I need to lose 60 lbs to get much needed knee replacement.

@TravelMama1 I am counting calories and low carbs, and I have lost 55lb so far and need to lose another 30lb. Just log everything you put in your mouth and stay below your calorie goal each day and you will lose weight. You can do this!

Welcome. I tend to be lower carb when on a deficit (which I am again now to lose some weight I gained during the past year). One thing I find is helpful is taking notes or keeping a journal and noting down when I feel tempted to eat (or to eat off plan) -- helps me figure out ways to adjust.

(Today I'm not worrying about plan, however.)

I am planning on doing 30g Carbs daily, see weight loss, next week 40, check weight loss doing this weekly to find me sweet spot. I just want to eat more veggies and add onion, garlic, tomato that sort of thing. Thank you for all the encouragement!

Keto here too, transitioning to low carb after stalling and gaining back over past year.
I'd over to have accountability buddies. Feel free to add me

You'll lose weight so long as you're in a calorie deficit, carb level has nothing to do with it. Just wanted to make that clear so you don't worry that you're not going to lose weight with a higher carb intake.

I generally end up at around 40-50g net carbs, and fit tons of veg into that (8+ servings a day, including both garlic and tomatoes every day). It's definitely doable :)
