Downloaded the iPhone App on my girlfriend's suggestion and really pleased with progress already!

    The first two weeks and 7lbs have been quite easy so far as I've also taken up running but I've just separated my shoulder last Sunday and have been told not to run for the meantime.

    Slightly concerned that, despite eating reasonably sensibly I think, I'm getting the occasional dire warning about being on a starvation diet despite eating three times a day.

    Top tip so far for being out and about or travelling: McDonalds do a tasty grilled chicken and bacon salad which, with the balsamic vinegar dressing, still only comes in at 190 calories!
  • If you can't run try walking each day! I know about being down for injuries Have had a few myself! Made the mistake of going gung ho when I started the site! Now I try to remember is a slow race not a marathon!. Take it one day at a time. You are at the best place to be! MFP is a great place. friend me if you like!
