Last year, I was 159 at 5'2 and a size 10-12.....Today I weigh 159.2 at 5'2 (I didn't grow :( ) and a size 6-8....I hate the scale. I almost cried when I seen that number. The lowest I got was 143 (in April) and guess what size??? 6-8!! WTF?

How much muscle can a woman put on?? I'm beyond irritated at this moment. Stepping on that scale plays with your mind.

I'm sorry I had to rant :(

You know... you are the only one that can see the number on the scale. But everyone else cannse what you look like. Ditch the scale and use the mesuring tape.

I never trust a measuring tape..mainly as i dont trust myself to keep my stomach the same way! If its less, i just think im holding my stomach in more today...

Probaly a fat that conversed to muscle type of thing since the weight is the same but your size is smaller..I think u look great
  • You are smaller bit upset about the number? Muscle looks better and is more compact, the scale is just yet another number. Congrats on your smaller pant size :) keep up the good work!

I hate it too, my weight is stuck but I've lost 6 inches off my waist and hips. Try measuring. It's kept me from totally giving up.

I guess i just always wanted to see that number...135 :(...I don't think I'll every get down there. I do lift heavy and I'm stronger...I just feel like I'm going backwards :(

I'd rather weigh more but be smaller to be honest. No one but you knows the number on your scale, unless you tell them. However, they can take one look at you and know that you're fit and that you rock that bikini.

I know what you mean! Seeing that number makes me feel validated- even though the proof is in the pudding (being able to wear smaller clothes)

I am naturally muscular and the scale always moves really really slow when I start working out for that reason- I've had to keep telling myself it is okay and none of this is in vain... hang in there and keep up the work. It is working and I think you look fab!!!

I would rather be a smaller size than a lower weight. ;) Consider yourself lucky!
  • Try getting your body fat tested. I'm gaining now, but in smaller pants. I measured my biceps and the grew 1/4 inch in 1 month of heavy lifting.
