I am a baby boomer, and need to improve my eating habits and time exercising to be prepared to do my garden in the spring. I grow a 3,000 sq ft veggie garden and love it! Share with many neighbors and family.

    Hi, and welcome to MFP!

Wow, that's quite a garden: You should have all the raw materials you need for some great eating. I know of a couple of threads here that might interest you, on that front:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10708195/garden-thread
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10726786/for-the-love-of-produce

On that first thread, I'll bet you could be a great source of experienced advice, come Spring. There have been some new gardeners in there, and I'm guessing activity there will pick up more again in the Spring. The other thread is all about enjoying veggies, no matter the source.

I'm a boomer, too (65), have been around MFP for a while, now maintaining a healthy weight after 3+ previous decades of obesity. Veggies are definitely a feature in my eating. (Wish you were my neighbor. 😉)

You came to the right place, to find a community oriented to increasing fitness and improving nutrition (at any age 🙂).

    Wishing you much success!
