i have it every 3 days. its made with wheat flour, and obviously other bad stuff, should i cut it from my diet?
i was thinking of making my own but it would be time consuming...

  • I would cut it out. I just bought some for my husband, (he begged me). And after we can home I looked at the ingredients and I was horrified. I'm sure you can make it yourself in a loaf pan and it could be a whole lot healthier. I've been thinking of doing this since my husband and son both love raisin bread.
  • Sadly raisins as delicious as they are, they have extremely high sugar count. So they tend to quickly fill your calories needs.
  • Gotta have something you love in your diet. Goes down to portion control and whatnot but every 3 days sounds like a good treat for keeping up your diet and workout.

It depends on the calories you burn at other times.
Breakfast is a good meal to "load up"

I eat raisin toast all the time.... sometimes with butter other times with peanut butter, and I've done fine.

There are also whole grain cinnamon raisin english muffins at trader joes that are really good.. maybe try those.
