Well here I go, 57-year-old female, highest weight 215. Put on over 60 pounds within the past two years because I quit smoking. I’m very very uncomfortable with myself and I would love some help and staying on track I need to get this weight off.

You‘ve got this!
I don‘t know if I can help. But the first step is to commit to this. Then, start tracking. It‘s all about CICO. The calorie tracking will get easier, I promise. The beginning is a bear. Track everything. Weigh everything. And, move more.

The fact that you've quit smoking shows that you are capable of changing a bad habit - you've got this!
I'd start by tracking everything, this makes it easier to see where your calories are coming/which meals or snacks are highest, from which you can look to make changes. Baby steps, try not to make too many changes at once.1
