Getting under my body's sweet spot weight

Hi all! I am trying to lose weight to get to an ideal body weight for my height (I'm 5'3"). I am currently 141 lbs. When I was in high school, I was pretty consistently 140, then freshman year of college, I gained to 178. have been trying to get comfortably under 140 for a while now (my goal weight is 125-130), but I'm finding it hard to decrease my weight in a healthy way once I hit 140. Any advice on this? I'm fairly active and eat 1710 cals a day. Should I reduce my daily cals?

How much weight have you lost in the last 6 weeks on 1710 cals?1

It’s a day to day thing
Set a goal each day and kill it
Next day another goal and kill it2
